Privacy Policy for Hook Dash

Who we are

Hook Dash (“the game”) is a free Android game published by LemonCherry Apps. Contact: dev.lemoncherry@gmail.com.

The short version

The game has no accounts, no sign-in and no servers of ours. Your progress is kept on your device. The only third party involved is Google AdMob, which serves the ads that keep the game free.

Data stored on your device

The game keeps a small save file in its private storage on your device: your best score, coin balance, number of runs played, the simian skins you own and the one you have equipped, whether you finished the tutorial, and your sound and vibration settings. It contains no personal information.

Android may include this save file in your device’s own backup to your Google account (Android Backup), so your progress can return when you restore or set up a new phone. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings; we never receive it. Uninstalling the game removes the save file from the device.

Permissions and why the game needs them

The game does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.

Advertising

The game shows ads through Google AdMob (banner, interstitial and optional rewarded ads; a rewarded ad is shown only when you choose to watch one, for example to continue a run). AdMob may collect and use data such as your device’s advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and information about ad interactions and app performance, to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud. This is described in Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and in how Google uses information from apps that use its services (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the game asks for your consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform before serving personalised ads, and you can change your choice later in the game. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device’s settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).

Children

The game is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

What the game does not do

It does not create an account, does not require sign-in, does not collect your name, email or contacts, does not track you across other companies’ apps for our own purposes, and does not sell data.
